Sometimes reaching out for support during a stressful or challenging time can feel difficult or even overwhelming. My goal is to create a supportive and safe space for meaningful and insightful conversations with my clients. Through a gentle and empathetic approach, I aim to establish a sense of trust, safety, and comfort where clients can explore thoughts, feelings and discuss problems openly and honestly. Together we can work through challenges, set healthy goals, develop effective coping strategies, and explore new pathways towards becoming your best self.

Who am I?

I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario and have been supporting individuals with both Mental Health & Addiction related concerns in both community and hospital-based settings. I have a special interest in strength-based, solution-focused approaches to psychotherapy with transitional-aged youth and adults.
Helping others to realize their existing potential for growth, change, and resiliency is at the core of my professional practice.

A BIT ABOUT THERAPY

Finding the best fit

Finding the right therapist is incredibly important. Often descriptors such as: comfort, safety, and support are utilized to describe the ideal therapeutic relationship. These can be incredibly important predictors of success for individuals seeking therapy. When we find ourselves in the right therapeutic environment, this often results in a greater sense of comfort in sharing our personal experiences.

It is not uncommon for individuals to "shop around," before selecting the best fit.

If you decide to meet with me, there is no commitment beyond our initial appointment. I want to ensure you feel I am the right therapist for you, and most importantly, that you feel a sense of comfort in speaking with me. 

I am currently offering both virtual (video), telephone, and in-person appointments.

I am currently available for both virtual, and in person appointments located in Scarborough, Ontario. 

I conduct a complimentary 15 minute telephone or virtual intake consultation. This allows us to discuss your best hopes for therapy, answer any questions you may have about my practices, and ensure I can best support you with the goals you have for therapy.

For your convenience, I have online booking available which can be accessed below to schedule a complimentary consultation, or an initial session.
